Day 1 Beijing

Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. You are greeted by your guide at the airport and transferred to the hotel. The rest time is free at your own leisure.

 

Day 2 Beijing

Day tour starts from the Forbidden City, in scripted as a UNESCO world cultural heritage site in 1987. It is the largest palace of the world complex covering 74 hectares. It has 9999 halls and rooms in which emperors lived for over 500 hundred years in Ming and Qing dynasties. And then we will take a leisure walk around Tian An Men Square to admire the grandeur of the largest public squares in the world. In the afternoon, we will ride bicycles to visit Beijing's Hutong, experiencing the lifestyle of the Beijing locals.

 

Day 3 Beijing

After breakfast, we will visit the Great Wall, one of the eight ancient wonders of between 6000- 6500km long built over several centuries to keep out the invading northern tribes. After a hike along a portion of the Wall, we visit the Ming Tombs, a secluded valley housing 14 imperial burial mounds.

 

Day 4 Beijing - Xi'an

Day tour starts from Temple of Heaven, where emperors performed annual rituals of sacrifice to ensure prosperity for future generations. After lunch, we will visit Green Olympic including Bird's Nest and Water Cube. And then you will take flight to Xi’an.

 

Day 5 Xi'an

After breakfast, we will take flight to Xi’an. Upon arrival, we will visit Terracotta Warriors. It is the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. It was listed by UNESCO in 1987 as one of the world cultural heritages. The museum covers an area of 16,300 square meters, divided into three sections: No. 1 Pit, No. 2 Pit, and No. 3 Pit respectively. Then visit Ancient City Wall by bike. It's the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. And then we will walk around at Muslim Square.

 

Day 6 Xi'an - Guilin

Today we will pay a visit to Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. The museum's permanent exhibition primarily displays Shaanxi's ancient history. The collection from the Han through the Tang (618 A.D.-907 A.D.) and Song (960 A.D.-1279 A.D.) dynasties shows the changes of art and craftsmanship. And then you will fly to Guilin.

 

Day 7 Guilin - Yangshuo

Today you will take Li River Cruise through the mist-shrouded limestone mountains, passing picturesque farms and fishing villages. Your cruise disembarks at the charming small Yangshuo Town around 2:00 p.m., and you will have you lunch on the cruise. After check in the hotel, we will cycle at countryside. Experience the hustle & bustle of the Yangshou traffic for 10 minutes before you escape onto the country roads, lanes and tracks of the distinctive and beautiful Yangshou countryside. Biking alongside the paddy field and orchards that surround the famous mountains will give a fascinating insight into life in rural China. You will have a family visit on the half way. It is an opportunity to see a real country life and talk to the local famers.

 

Day 8 Guilin - Hangzhou

After breakfast, we will drive back to Guilin. Pay a visit to Reed Flute Cave on the way. It gets the name from the reeds used for making flutes and pipes that grow at its entrance. The cave is regarded as the largest and most impressive cave in Guilin. It is 240 meters long, and the length of the tour is about 550 meters offering a magic land of stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone curtains, birds, plants and animals in fantastic shapes and colors. After that we will take flight to Hangzhou.

 

Day 9 Hangzhou

Wuzhen lies in the far north-east of Zhejiang province, about 90 minutes by road from Shanghai. The name "water town" is especially apt; besides lying on the Grand Canal, the settlement is completely encircled by two rivers - the Dong Shi and a smaller tributary, which meet at a T-junction. Today we will walk around this water town. And then we will take a cruise to enjoy the atmosphere of the traditional cultures and the original ancient features of Wuzhen water town that have been preserved intact, the elegant watery views and the strong local colored traditions and customs.

 

Day 10 Hangzhou - Huangshan

After enjoying your breakfast you will start your tour in Hangzhou with a cruise in the picturesque West Lake. Then pay a visit to Longjin Tea Garden. After lunch, we will visit to Lingyin Temple which is the biggest Buddhism temple in southeast of China. And then we will drive to Huangshan.

 

Day 11 Mt. Huangshan

After breakfast, ascend to the top of the mountain by cable car and enjoy the attractions of Huangshan. You would be enchanted by bizarre contoured pine trees, fantastic rock formations, seas of cloud and budding hot springs. In addition, one will find the diversified fauna, plants, flowers, herbs in Huangshan most fascinating for research purpose also. Overnight at the top the mountain.

 

Day 12 Mt. Huangshan - Tunxi

Rise early to catch the glory of the rising sun bathes the nearby peaks and pavilions in a shower of light, if the weather is good enough. Descend the mountain by cable car. After lunch, we will drive to visit Tangyue Memorial Archway. At the entrance of the Tang Yue Village stand the seven magnificent stone memorial archways-three built in the Ming Dynasty and four in the Qing Dynasty, in the successive order of loyalty, filial piety, women's chastity and charity. Each was built in relation with a moving story and vividly reveals in one way or another moral values. Tonight enjoy your own leisure and take a stroll on the Old Walking Street in the Tun Xi city. The Ancient Street was built about 700 years ago in the Song Dynasty; it is about 1.5 km long and lined with hundreds of old but well-preserved elegant shops. In the evening you will take flight to Shanghai.

 

Day 13 Shanghai

After breakfast we will visit Yuyuan Garden, which is a famous classical garden located in Anren Jie. The garden was finished in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan. Yu in Chinese means pleasing and satisfying, and this garden was specially built for Pan's parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age. And then we will visit Jade Buddha Temple. After that we will visit the Bund.

 

Day 14 Departure
