Schedule:

Day 1__Arrival to Shanghai

Arrive in Shanghai, the capital of China. You are greeted by your guide at the airport and transferred to the hotel. The rest time is free at your own leisure.

 

Day 2__Shanghai City Tour

Today you will visit the Bund, Jada Buddha Temple and Yuyuan Garden.

Yuyuan Garden: famous classical garden located in Anren Jie. The garden was finished in 1577 by a government officer of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) named Pan Yunduan. Yu in Chinese means pleasing and satisfying, and this garden was specially built for Pan's parents as a place for them to enjoy a tranquil and happy time in their old age.

Jade Buddha Temple: one of Shanghai few active Buddhist monasteries, this temple was built between 1911 and 1918. The centerpiece is the 1.9m-high pale green Jade Buddha, seated upstairs in his own hall. The beautiful effigy of Sakyamuni, clearly Southeast Asian in style, gazes ethereally from a cabinet.

The Bund: you will walk along and admire both sides of the harbor. The Bund, also called Zhongshan Dong Yi Lu (East Zhongshan 1st Road), is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. It is on the west bank of Huangpu River from the Waibaidu Bridge to Nanpu Bridge and winds 1500 meters (0.93 mile) in length. The most famous and attractive sight which is at the west side of the Bund are the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance.

 

    

 

Day 3__Shanghai to Luzhi town to Suzhou

Today you will take express train to Suzhou to visit Suzhou Museum and Luzhi Town.

Suzhou: "Venice of the East", described by Marco Polo as one of the most beautiful cities in China. And it is very famous as its ancient style garden.

Suzhou Museum: is a soothing contrast of water, bamboo and straight lines in a stunning geometric interpretation of Suzhou garden. Inside is a fascinating array of jade, ceramics, wooden carvings, textiles and other displays.

Luzhi Town: Luzhi's bridges are delightful: Jinli Bridge is a typically attractive humpbacked bridge and the Xinglong Bridge dates to the 15th century.

 

Day 4__Suzhou to Wuzhen to Hangzhou

After enjoying your breakfast we will drive to Hangzhou. On the way you will visit Wuzhen.

Wuzhen: With origins dating from the late Tang dynasty, Wuzhen is a historic town that has been resurrected as a tourist destination. It's a water town whose network of waterways and access to the Grand Canal once madeit a prosperous place for its trade and production of silk.

 

Day 5__Hangzhou to Hongcun to Huangshan

This morning you will visit West Lake and Longjin Tea Garden. And then we will drive for about 3 hours to Hongcun. After that we will drive to Huangshan.

West Lake: continues to mesmerise and methodical prettification has worked a cunning magic. Pagoda-topped hills rise over willow-lined water as boats drift slowly through a vignette of leisurely charm.

Longjin Tea Garden: all of which harvest China’s most famous variety of green tea, Longjing, named after the spring where the parttern in the water resembles a dragon.

 

    

 

Hong Cun Village and Xi Di Village: Old Villages now one of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites in China. Most people knew about this area from the film "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" which was shot on site here. These villages demonstrate classical Ming and Qing Dynasty residential architectural style. But most important, there exists a unique irrigation and waterways system that rendered the villagers with direct access to water already hundreds years ago. Today, you are enchanted not only by the unique waterways, the architectural form, but also by the harmony between men made artifacts and nature resulting in a soothing environment most pleasing to your eyes.

 

Day 6__Mt. Huangshan

After breakfast, ascend to the top of the mountain by cable car and enjoy the attractions of Huangshan. Overnight on the mountain.

Mt. Huangshan: Vegetation on the range is thickest below 1,100 meters, with trees growing up to the tree line at 1,800 meters. Very famous by its precipitous landscapes. You would be enchanted by bizarre contoured pine trees, fantastic rock formations, seas of cloud and budding hot springs. In addition, one will find the diversified fauna, plants, flowers, herbs in Huangshan most fascinating for research purpose also.

 

Day 7__Mt. Huangshan to Wuyuan

Rise early to catch the glory of the rising sun bathes the nearby peaks and pavilions in a shower of light, if the weather is good enough. Descend the mountain by cable car. Then drive to Wuyuan county.

 

    

 

Wuyuan: It’s known as the most beautiful countryside in China. You will walk into the most picturesque Likeng village in this area. It enjoys a stupendous riverside setting, hung with lanterns, threaded by quaint bridges. Visit Yu Family Mansion in Wangkou, followed by Jiangwang village and Xiaoqi village.

 

Day 8__Wuyuan to Jingdezhen to Nanchang

In the morning drive from Wuyuan to Jingdezhen for visiting. Then go on drive to Nanchang city for staying overnight. Driving hours for whole day is around 4-5 hours.

Jingdezhen: It has a long history and a magnificent culture. It crouches on the south of the Yangtze River as a “Powerful Town on the South of the Yangtze River", and It's very famous by its china making.

 

Day 9__Nanchang to Beijing

In the morning take flight to Beijing. Upon arrival, you will visit Summer Palace.

Summer Palace: the Imperial Garden cover a huge area-some 2.5km from east to west

 

Day10__Beijing

Today you will visit Great Wall and take rickshaws to visit Hutong.

Great Wall: is famous and to be the most choice from the guests of all world. Great Wall, one of the eight ancient wonders of between 6000- 6500km long built over several centuries to keep out the invading northern tribes. 

Rickshaws through Beijing's Hutong: experience the lifestyle of the Beijing locals. And you could learn make dumpling, when we pay a visit a Hutong family.

 

    

 

Day 11__Beijing City Tour

Today you will visit Temple of Heaven, Forbidden City and Tian An Men Square.

Temple of Heaven: Where emperors performed annual rituals of sacrifice to ensure prosperity for future generations.

The Forbidden City: In scripted as a UNESCO world cultural heritage site in 1987. It is the largest palace of the world complex covering 74 hectares. It has 9999 halls and rooms in which emperors lived for over 500 hundred years in Ming and Qing dynasties.

Tian An Men Square: you take a leisure walk around Tian An Men Square to admire the grandeur of the largest public squares in the world.

 

Day 12__ Departure

Your Chinese Venice Tour will be near the end. You will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
