For as long as many Yangtze boat hands can remember, the Three Gorges have been a member of the prestigious China tour triumvirate, rubbing shoulders with the Terracotta Warriors and the Great Wall. China Classic Yangtze Tour takes you not only to visit the massive Forbidden City, the epic Great Wall, silent emperor guards Terracotta Warriors, but also takes you to see adorable pandas in Chengdu and take a seat on the Yangtze River Cruise and leisurely watch the stunning Three Gorges and have fun in fashion Shanghai.




Day 1__Beijing

Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. You are greeted by your guide at the airport and transferred to the hotel. According to your arrival flight, we will suggest the activities for today.


Day 2__Beijing

Beijing City Day Tour:

Jinshan Park: It was formed from the earth excavated to create the palace moat. Come here for classic panoramas over the Forbidden City's russet roofing to the south.

The Forbidden City: and then you will visit the astonishing imperial heritage.

Tian An Men Square: After that you will take a leisure walk around Tian An Men Square to admire the grandeur of the largest public squares in the world.


Day 3__Beijing

Beijing Day Tour:

The Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall: the only place you can truly put the Great Wall under your feet is in China. Let’s do is today! You will visit it in the morning.

Hutong: After a hike along a portion of the Wall, we will drive back to the city. You will take rickshaws through Beijing’s Hutong, experiencing authentic Beijing local culture.

Have famous and delicious Peking Roast Duck as dinner.




Day 4__Beijing

After morning tour to Summer Palace, you will take flight to Xi’an. Your guide of Xi’an section will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. And then you will explore the backstreets of Xi’an’s ancient Muslim Quarter. Tonight you will have Dumpling Banquet as dinner

Summer Palace: it was built 800 years ago. It is the second largest and best-preserved royal garden in China, with 294 hectares including the beautiful and serene Kunming Lake.


Day 5__Xi’an to Chengdu

After Xi’an day tour, you will take a flight to Chengdu. Upon arrival, your guide will transfer you to your hotel.

Terracotta Warriors: it isn't just Xi'an's premier area, but one of the most famous archaeological finds in the world. This subterranean life-size army of thousands has silently stood guard over the soul of China's first unifier for over two millennia.

Ancient City Wall: represent one of the oldest and best preserved Chinese city walls.


Day 6__Chengdu to Chongqing

In the morning, we will visit Giant Panda Breeding Centre to see this beautiful and lovely creature. After lunch, you will take express train to Chongqing. Upon arrival in Chongqing, first we will visit Ciqikou Old Town. This lively old area has been partly restored, and remains an authentic and busy community. In the later afternoon, you will be transferred to board the ship.




Day 7__Yangtze Cruise

After breakfast, visit the Ghost City of Fengdu County on the moring. Fengdu is where the devil lives, according to Chinese legend. The whole place has an eerie feel to it with deserted streets, tower blocks, empty shops and banks. The only people here are those who make a living from visiting cruise boats. The Captain's Welcome Party will be held.


Day 8__Yangtze Cruise

Take a small boat to Shennong Stream in the afternoon. Shennong Stream is another tributary of the Yangtze River, and its fast-flowing, crystal clear water runs southwards through deep gorges. In the evening, various activities and performances are included on the cruise.


Day 9__Yichang to Shanghai

This morning you will visit Three Gorges Dam. When the cruise ends, you will be transferred to the airport and take a flight to Shanghai.

Three Gorges Dam: the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man. It has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom. The tourists can get access to the top of the dam and enjoy different kinds of photo opportunities.




Day 10__Shanghai

Shanghai day tour:

Shanghai World Financial Centre: is a superhigh skyscraper in the city as well as the highest in the mainland China with a height of 492 meters. It is a multifunctional office-based building combining offices, commerce, business, conferences, hotels, exhibitions and sightseeing. Embodies the concept of Vertical Garden City and incorporates the building company's vast know-how and experience, the project offers office space with cutting-edge specifications and all the expected functions of a world-class international financial center.

The riverfront Bund: And then you will walk along and admire both sides of the harbor. The Bund, also called Zhongshan Dong Yi Lu (East Zhongshan 1st Road), is a famous waterfront and regarded as the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. It is on the west bank of Huangpu River from the Waibaidu Bridge to Nanpu Bridge and winds 1500 meters (0.93 mile) in length. The most famous and attractive sight which is at the west side of the Bund are the 26 various buildings of different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance.

Yu Garden: is the only fully restored classical Chinese garden in Shanghai. It was inaugurated in the Ming dynasty and has a total area of 20,000 square meters. Although the Garden occupies less than five acres, demonstrates perfectly the sophisticated art of combining several different elements to create a world in miniature - ingeniously mingling pavilions and corridors, small hills and carefully selected and well-placed rocks, lotus ponds, bridges, winding paths, and trees and shrubs.


Day 11__Departure

Your China Classic Yangtze Tour will be near the end. You will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
